Event Collateral
American University
Role: Led design from concept to pre-press files.
American University hosts a wide range of elevated events, from formal awards galas to high-profile donor gatherings, each requiring polished, thoughtful presentation that call for a refined, cohesive visual experience aligned with the university’s brand and reputation.
I led the design of refined invitations, cards, and programs, focusing on elevated layouts, typography, and cohesive visual storytelling. These pieces often incorporated special papers and premium production techniques, including foil accents and die-cutting, to enhance texture and detail and create sophisticated, memorable printed materials. These events also called for digital graphics, including email invitations, social graphics, and presentations.
Key contributions included:
-
Led design from concept to pre-press, often developing multiple concepts to choose from
-
Die cut and foil cards
-
Multi-page programs and booklets
-
A suite of deliverables for each event, including programs, menus, table numbers, backdrops, and signage
-
Digital deliverables, including evites, social, and slides.
