Brand Stewardship and
Cross-Platform Design: Challenge Accepted

Campaign identity: Developed by an external agency

Challenge Accepted is American University’s current brand campaign. After the campaign identity was established, my role focused on upholding and extending the visual system across a wide range of applications while maintaining strict alignment with campaign brand guidelines.

 

Working within the existing framework, I translated the campaign identity into cohesive design across print, digital, and environmental spaces, adapting the system for diverse audiences and contexts without losing its core visual language.

 

Key contributions included:

  • Large-scale window and environmental graphics

  • Invitations (print and email) for campaign and donor events

  • Merchandise design (socks, pins, notebooks)

  • A university-wide newsletter rebrand that increased reader engagement

  • Animated Keynote presentation for the 2023 Alumni Awards
